  • Conclusione The 42PFL7404's pictures do have a couple of weaknesses though. First and worst, as with the LG model they lose contrast and colour when watched from any sort of angle.
  • Pro: Brilliant colours, exceptional sharpness, crisp standard def upscaling, nice looks, good price
  • Contro: Standard definition pictures can look slightly noisy, limited viewing angle, a little labour intensive to use, no Freeview HD

  • Conclusione This is an excellent TV from Philips for those who don’t watch TV with the lights off. The black levels are a little too grey for this.
  • Pro: Excellent colours and nice image quality, Viewing angles amongst the best for an LCD
  • Contro: Blacks not deep enough to watch in a dark room, HDNM alters some scenes too much

  • Conclusione Philips signe ici un excellent téléviseur pour ceux qui ne regardent pas la TV dans le noir. Les noirs sont un peu trop gris pour cette dernière utilisation.
  • Pro: Excellente colorimétrie et belle qualité d’image, Angle de vision parmi les meilleurs pour du LCD
  • Contro: Noir trop clair pour regarder la TV dans le noir, HDNM destructeur sur certaines scènes
